For a variety of reasons, the Mac platform has never been synonymous with gaming. Up until recently, the graphical processing power of most Apple computers has been comparably limited, and only a handful of major game publishers and developers have created native versions of their titles for the operating system. Is a mac ok for gaming. However, over the last couple of years Apple has begun to boost the processing power of their machines through partnerships with NVIDIA and AMD, and game developers have begun to target the growing Mac install base, particularly, who earlier this year brought their digital distribution platform and multiplayer gaming system, Steam, to Macs.
